KAISER 2458 filmcopy vario (SC-K2458)
Code no: 2458 Stable holding device for the exact positioning of slides and negatives of various formats. For digitizing by using a camera with macro lens (1:1) mounted to a copy stand or tripod. To use on light boxes.
With appropriate format masks or glass inserts (each available as accessories) also suitable for film strips and cut single slides and negatives of the 4.5 x 6 cm, 6 x 6 cm, 6 x 7 cm and 6 x 9 cm film formats and the 24 x 66 mm panoramic film format. Inserts are easy to change. Mounted 35 mm slides can be placed directly from above on the device, for placing film strips the pressure frame has to be opened. Bottom part with adjustable stop pins for different film widths plus four steplessly adjustable masking strips. Overlay mat sized 254 x 201 mm (10 x 7.9 in.) serves as a protection against stray light. Weight of FilmCopy Vario (w/o masks, w/o overlay mat): approx. 600 g (1.3 lbs.). The FilmCopy Vario Kit (2458) already includes the super flat “slimlite plano” LED light box (2453) for viewing and sorting slides and negatives and for illumination during digitization (illuminated area 22 x 16 cm (8.7 x 6.3 in.), 5000 Kelvin daylight, CRI = 95, continuously dimmable, battery and mains operation).
