EPSON P9560 Surecolor w/Spectroproofer (PEIP-9560SP1YR)

The Epson SpectroProofer™ is an optional, high-performance, in-line spectrophotometer that can be added to selected Stylus Pro and SureColor ProGraphics printers. When driven by an appropriate RIP it enables precision proofing and addition of colour management into a commercial or flexographic production workflow. It enables Photographers and artists to be assured that their final output will be a true reflection of their intention. Designers can produce internal reference material as well as colour accurate samples for client approval. Printers can produce contract proofs, colour certification labels and material for production control.

The SpectroProofer provides an extreme level of measurement accuracy which conforms with the latest ISO and Fogra standards. It enables media calibration and output verification to ensure that artwork transitions from file to print with precise and accurate results. When used with appropriate software, the process can be configured to work automatically so that colour consistency is maintained from one print to the next.

It supports a wide range of roll and sheet based media and features an all new PrecisionCore MicroTFP print head with Variable Sized Droplet Technology™ for output with superior resolution, gradations and colour density. It uses the new UltraChrome

^® Pro12 all-pigment aqueous ink for quality colour and premium B&W output that is consistent, predictable and durable. The SC-P9560 cartridges feature an extra-large capacity for extended operation with a low cost per print due to the new PrecisionCore printhead and reduced running costs. The printer also includes new sub tanks so you will not run out of ink during a print job again⁴. The printer ships with a fabric retractable output bin for cut sheets as well as an optional Auto-Take-Up system for continuous roll to roll production. An optional HDD is available for efficient workgroup operation with print server and reprint functionality along with an optional a high-speed Postscript^® module which includes a HDD meaning users can directly print postscript files (PDF, EPS) and raster files (JPEG, TIFF) without the need of a PC.
