The camera features a new heat-dissipating structure, increasing the video recording time up to 240 minutes of 4K/60P video.

Supports Apple ProRes 422 HQ, ProRes 422, and ProRes 422 LT. ProRes 422 Proxy is also avaialble when recording ProRes.

Supports the AF+MF function when recording movies

Offers subject-detection AF during video recording for accurate tracking of fast-moving subjects.

Also supports F-Log2, which records an expanded dynamic range of 14+ stops.

Combined with an ATOMOS HDMI device, the RAW video output from the X-H2S can be recorded as 12-bit Apple ProRes RAW at frame sizes up to 6.2K and frame rates up to 29.97fps. And when combined with Blackmagic Design Video Assist 12Gs, the RAW video output from the camera can be recorded as Blackmagic RAW at frame sizes up to 6.2K and frame rates up to 29.97fps.

Add the optional File Transmitter FT-XH* to support the Remote Rec function by wired LAN/wireless LAN.
