The scanned images preserve the detail with a Dmax of 3.4 and a 48-bit Color Depth. When working with the images, it scans in a fast 40 Seconds at 600 dpi Scan Speed. The OpticFilm 135 features motorized transport for automatic batches scanning with no warm-up time. It comes with Plustek QuickScan Plus Software and a selection of other editing tools to easily share the images on Facebook, Flickr, Picasa, and Twitter.

The OpticFim 135 not only offers the well-known and outstanding image quality of Plustek scanners. New features include panoramic film scanning, and motorized film transport for automatic batch scanning. A specific film holder identity design identifies the selected film holder automatically. The OpticFilm 135 includes true 3600 dpi optical resolution and ensures sharp and vivid images, and an output of up to 17.3 megapixel images, likewise to so-called full frame digital-SLR cameras. This makes photo printing up to 12” x 17” very easy.
