Health Effects:
Swallowed: Rapid absorption. Absorption via gastrointestinal tract, skin, mucous membranes. The following applies to boron compounds in general: resorption is followed by nausea and vomiting, agitation, spasms, CNS disorders, cardiovascular disorders.

First Aid
If swallowed: make victim drink plenty of water, induce vomiting, summon doctor
Eye: rinse out with plenty of water with eyelid held wide open. Summon eye specialist if necessary.
Skin: wash off with plenty of water. Remove contaminated clothing.
First aid facilities: eyewash in area of work, readily available

Engineering Controls: Person-related precautionary measures: Avoid generating dust; do not inhale dusts. Procedures for cleaning/absorption. Take up dry. Forward for disposal. Clean up affected area.
Personal Protection: Respirator is required when dusts are generated. Ensure respirator is clean, well fitting and in good working order. All respirators should comply with Australian Standard AS1716 and be used in accordance with AS1715
Gloves and face shields are also required. Extinguishing media: Water, CO2, foam, powder.
Storage and Transport:
Store tightly closed, dry at room temperature (recommendation +15 to +25deg C).
