When the JOBO Alpha developer is combined with the optional JOBO Alpha neutral fixer, the entire process take place completely in a basic to pH-neutral environment.

A short wash also replaces the usual acidic stop bath. The whole process is particularly gentle on the film emulsion and saves chemicals, water and time while at the same time ensuring high long-term stability. Over-fixing is practically impossible with the JOBO Alpha neutral fixer.

The fixer is odorless and free of harmful emissions. JOBO alpha is specially designed for development in the rotary press. Of course it can also be used in tilt development, but in rotation it achieves reproducible optimal results.
